Tabitha had her surgery this morning to put the PE tubes in her ears. The ENT doctor was running a little late because he'd been called to an emergency at another hospital across town. All in all she did very well, once she went back it was about thirty minutes and we were headed back home. They said she didn't cry at all--they don't have to give them an IV at all, they just give them some anesthesia gases and the babies sleep. She was drinking apple juice when we got called to the recovery room. The doctor said that her right ear was pretty yucky--had lots of pus behind the ear drum. Poor baby, no wonder she's always pulled at that right ear. We have to put drops in her ears twice a day for 7 days. She really hates that! I just pray that this will do the trick and her ears will heal without problems. She was a little crabby today, but still felt like playing. She ate pretty good and took a couple of naps. She'll be back to daycare tomorrow. Thanks for your prayers.
The picture is Tabitha before the procedure. She looked the same except for cotton in her ears afterwards.

Poor Baby!!! I am glad to hear she did so well with the surgery!! She looks so cute in her little hospital gown. I hope she heals well and ear infections will be a thing of the past.
